A weekly, termtime roundup of Pop Club Choir goings-on and a peek at what’s coming next.

Saturday Synopsis

What a term! I've loved every minute of it, dear friends – and I've learned so much. From my first tentative steps with We Built This City, right through to your beautiful, confident and musical rendition of Just Give Me Reason, you've warmly supported, gently guided and enthusiastically encouraged in equal measure.

And I'm so grateful. Thank you all.

You've welcomed our new members and friends and I hope you all feel that Pop Club Choir is your choir, with no cliques or in-groups. Those who help out behind the scenes, preparing lyrics, recording vocal parts, assembling teas and coffees, checking you in etc, all do so out the kindness of their hearts and I, for one, offer my most hearty thanks.

All the dates are in the Calendar section of the members' area and we're back week starting 8th April.

Party - Saturday 6th April

Tickets are whizzing out the door for our End of Term Party! If you'd like to sing a song with the Pop Club Choir All Stars Live Band please let me know what you'd like to sing by the end of Sunday 31st March at the latest.

Please do jump on the website to purchase your ticket so we can make sure we have enough food (and at this rate, space).

Everyone is welcome: members, partners, friends, family. You don't have to sing in Pop Club Choir to come along.

Renew Your Membership

I really hope you've enjoyed this term (more on that below) and lots of you have asked how you renew your membership.

You can do that at any time.

Simply go to popclubchoir.uk/shop and select the option you want. Your membership will be extended, from your current expiry date, by ten sessions (if you select the Ten Week Pass), or by a full year (if you select Annual Membership).

Above all, I don't want money to be a reason for people not to come to Pop Club Choir, so if you're having difficultly then please drop me a line.

Questionnaire

It was great to get your feedback! Thank you to all who completed a Questionnaire.

It's seems that for most you (a whopping 93%), the priority is having fun and 86% of you love all the songs.

The overwhelming mood of Congress was that you like the venues and the time with only two people expressing a preference for a change.

And of everyone who responded, 93% of you are "definitely" coming back next term with the remainder ticking, "maybe."

The comments were fantastically useful! It turns out that you'd like people to be a little less chatty when not singing, and that I could do to go just a little more slowly at times. Lots of you would quite like some name badges and several of you asked whether it would be possible to list the songs we'll be doing each week somewhere more obvious than the Saturday Synopsis.

Workshop - Bungay Community Centre

The first of our Saturday Workshops will be taking place on Saturday 27th April 2pm - 5pm at Bungay Community Centre, NR35 1PU.

We'll be covering the same material as the weekly rehearsals and the aim is twofold. Firstly, all the good stuff that comes with the joy of singing and secondly, to get those of you who live too far from one of our regular locations ready to perform at gigs. And of course, if you missed any sessions and/or would like to re-learn any of the songs, it's perfect for that too.

Tickets are £15 and available at popclubchoir.uk/shop

I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Easter Break. See you all at the Party on Saturday 6th April and, for the new term week starting 8th April.
