The headline is of course a reminder that next week (week starting 19th February) is half term, so we won't be meeting. I shall not be being idle though, dear singers, as I have a full week of arranging in front of me.

This afternoon I finished our next song but I've run out of puff and the soprano part does rather jump about as I've sung some of it an octave down. Hopefully I'll have time for some admin too, not least of which will be to get cracking with organising our 'end of term' social and a couple of other exciting projects which I've got planned for us for this summer.

I'll post a definitive list of what we're doing when we come back for the second half of term, but suffice it to say, first job will be to get the second half of "Proud Mary" whipped into shape.
