A weekly, termtime roundup of Pop Club Choir goings-on and a peek at what’s coming next.

Saturday Synopsis

Week two complete. Well done with the syncopation, particularly all you sopranos and upper altos. Likewise, with the speed teach of Suspicious Minds. We'll finish I Could Be So Good For You next week and then probably start work on our Christmas Song. Don't quote me on that quite yet. Still working a few bits and bobs out.

It's been something of a blast in terms of gigs recently! A Saturday night festival headline which, at the risk of blowing our own trumpet ("toot, toot!"), we jolly well rocked. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Straight after that, we entertained over 10,000 runners as they whizzed past us at Run Norwich. And tomorrow we'll be singing at Carrow Road for the Norwich v Watford match.

I think it's fair to say that we're well and truly punching above our weight! I shared my secret for successful gigs (to at least look like you're having a good time) and by goodness, you've taken it and run with it.

All this activity means I've haven't done masses in terms of ticking things of the "admin" list but I hope to make some progress with that next week.

The Song Suggestions section of this Members' Area is proving popular and you've all been very good at not adding duplicates. Thank you!

If you're on a desktop device rather than a mobile, you'll be able to sort all the suggestions by song name, artist name, year and (perhaps most usefully) by the date they were added. Next for this section will be a search feature where you can search for a specific song.

As always, the Calendar section should have all the information with regards to upcoming events. I've added our Halloween Party to the Social tab and tickets will be on sale for that soon.

Before I sign off, just a plea to add a picture to your account if you've not already done so. If you're on a mobile, clicking the upload picture button will open your camera and you can send a quick snap straight away. If you're on a computer, you'll be able to upload an existing photo. Alternatively, you can just email a picture and I'll sort it out for you this end.

As always, you can email me at ed@popclubchoir.uk, or whatsapp, call or text on 07973 110075. Or hit me up on Facebook!
