Many congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in our first performance.

I could not be happier with how it went. You sang and performed beautifully and we now have some new members, a bundle of new gig offers, and if I dare say so, a mass of confidence that we can do this! Onwards! Upwards!

Thanks to everyone who came along, to those who manned (womanned?) the stall, who handed out flyers, and also to all of you who couldn't make it but sent your hearty best wishes.

End of Term Party

Though we've still got one more rehearsal to go, tickets are now available for our end of term party at Ipswich Sports Club, Henley Road IP1 4NJ. If ticket sales are anything to go by, it seems that you rather like a party, Pop Club Choir!

The Pop Club Choir All Stars Live Band are hard at work preparing so don't forget to let me know what song you'd like to sing by emailing ed@popclubchoir.uk

There'll be food, dancing, singing, a quiet area for those that just want to chat and a well-stocked and reasonably-priced bar. There's plenty of parking and doors open at 7pm..

Printing

I'm always happy to print stuff out for those that don't have access to a printer, but if you can, it'd help me enormously if you could remember to print out your lyrics before rehearsals. There are over 200 of us now and my poor old machine will soon splutter its way out of existence at this rate. If you need me to print stuff out for you then please let me know in advance and I'll add you to the list.

Songs for this week

This week we'll be finishing Just Give Me A Reason and our Hot Hopeful is Flowers, by Miley Cyrus. Lyrics are available in the Downloads Area.

We'll almost certainly have a sing through everything we've learned this term and if there are any sections of any songs that you'd like me to do a whirlwind re-teach of then let me know in the Facebook comments (or email ed@popclubchoir.uk).
