Saturday Synopsis
Rule The World
It's been so nice getting back to singing this week.
I suspect we could have got through the whole of Rule The World this week but I decided to spread it over two weeks. We worked so hard getting You've Got A Friend finished and I felt we needed a nice easy ride.
Next week, we'll finish off Rule The World and also have a sing through a new Hot Hopeful, McFly's All About You.
Then, in weeks eight to ten we'll tackle the final song of the term. It's all finished but I've not put it up yet. I think you're going to like it!
Video and Audio
I probably won't do two separate recap vides for Rule The World. Instead the plan is to have one video covering both weeks. I'll almost certainly do that at the end of next week, once I've had a chance to teach the second half a few times. I figure that if I've run through it four times then at least I'll know what I'm doing when I start the camera rolling.
There are new very loud audio tracks for Time After Time. I'm slowly working my way through the back catalogue but as always, do let me know which songs you'd like me to prioritise.
Similarly, let me know where you'd like me to focus my efforts with regards to the recap videos. It's going to take some time to do them all so I'll need to prioritise!
Badges
Finally a quick reminder that you can now order badges in the shop at popclubchoir.uk/shop. The cost is 50p but that's payable in cash when you collect if you don't mind so the price shows as £0 in the shop. Our payment provider doesn't allow payments of such a small amount. These are kindly assembled by our Bury St Edmunds soprano, Sandra. Thank you, Sandra.
You'll see there are a couple options: firstly, you'll need to specify the name, exactly as you want it to appear on the badge (I suggest your first name plus the first letter of your surname), and secondly, which location you'd like to collect from.
As always, please share your thoughts and feedback. You can email me at ed@popclubchoir.uk, or whatsapp, call or text on 07973 110075. Or hit me up on Facebook!
