Saturday Synopsis
What a busy week! Kesgrave and Bury on Monday, mad dash to Southampton on Tuesday, chair-related-nonsense on Wednesday and finally the Thursday Thetforders (aka The Croxton Crew).
Friday was a website day (see below) and today I'm putting the final touches to the arrangement and recording all the vocal parts for the song after the song after next week's song.PHOTOS I
In order to help me learn all your names there's now a do-dah in the Members' Area where you can upload a photo of yourself. Including Kesgrave and my fortnightly choirs in Woodbridge and Stoke Park, there are now over 200 of you.
So, my usually fairly good memory for names is starting to let me down. Please do upload a little headshot for me to help me get you all committed to memory! For now, I've left the section visible so you'll see it when you next log on. You can hide it using the normal 'Show/Hide' buttons.
Thanks to all who've joined the WhatsApp groups. The plan is only to use these in emergencies and they're set so that you can only receive messages and not reply. That way, you won't be 'pinged' constantly.
If you've not yet joined these groups, you can do so using the following links:

I know one or two of our number are not on Facebook so I'll also be publishing this 'Saturday Synopsis' at the top of the Members Area. It'll be hidden by default but, again, you can show it using the usual buttons.
For now, I'm not going to do email because it seems to trigger the Spam filters and I already send quite a lot of similar looking emails of course. But I'll keep that under review.

Barry Burns will be at Ipswich taking some more photos this week. Please wear your Popclubchoir shirt if you've bought one.
If you'd like to buy one, they're available at rehearsals. We have a handful left and they're priced at £15.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BASS
We had several new gentlemen come last week and we've got more booked in this week for free taster sessions. We want them to feel as comfortable as possible so I really hope our as many of our regular 'gentleman singers' are able to come this week.
Safety in numbers, fellows!
Equally, if there's a man in your life – or men in your life (!) – that might be dragged, kicking and screaming if necessary, to have a sing with us then please do give them every encouragement.
