I am learning so much and I'm thoroughly enjoying finding new ways to make Pop Club Choir better!

One thing I've learned this week is that combining a ridiculously complicated rhythm with a lot of difficult and rather chromatic melody lines is a recipe for disaster.

Printing and Songs for week starting 18/3/2024

Our sing-along song this week will be Journey's Don't Stop Believing and you can listen to that by clicking here.

If time allows, I'll also re-teach Chorus 2 of This Is Me.

First Gig of 2024

Our first gig of the year is THIS TUESDAY (19th March). Still some places available so if you can come along, please do. We'll be assembling at 11am, performing at around 11.30am and Scott Gay has prepared some maps for us all. Ipswich at Tuddenham Road (again)

Ipswich: we'll be meeting at 320 Tuddenham Rd, Ipswich IP4 3QJ again this week (Wednesday 20th March), rather than at Henley Road. I've received assurance that chairs and parking will be sorted this time.

Furthermore, I've just received a telephone call from Andy, the Head Honcho of Ipswich Sports Club, and he's assured me that this is the last time we'll be asked to move from our regular home.

Social

Our end of term social is planned for Saturday 6th April at Ipswich Sports Club, Henley Road IP1 4NJ. There'll be food, music and the opportunity to sing with the Pop Club Choir All Star Live Band. Cost is likely to be around £12.

Don't forget, you can quickly check for any new uploads here in the members' area by clicking the Created column header in the list of songs below. Clicking once will sort the songs in descending order and clicking again will sort in ascending order, that is, showing the most recently uploaded files at the top of the list.
