A weekly, termtime roundup of Pop Club Choir goings-on and a peek at what’s coming next.

Saturday Synopsis

Week 2

After my malaise last week it was really good to get back to singing! That's Together In Electric Dreams completed. Next week we'll start our brand new arrangement of Carole King's wonderful song You've Got A Friend

As always, the Downloads are already up in this Members' Area so feel free to have a sneaky pre-listen if you'd like.

I had a lot of fun arranging this though it's probably not my finest vocal performance and as I was still rather full of flu when I recorded the parts. Hopefully it's not too excruciating to listen to.

Gigs

Gigs really are coming in thick and fast at the moment. Please sign up in the Calendar section below, or if you know you're not available, you can let me know in the same place.

The first one of 2025 is in March at the Thetford Wellbeing Fayre and then in April we're back at Ipswich Rugby Club. Things start to get busy in May...

One of the nice things about booking gigs for Pop Club Choir is that once we've performed somewhere, the feedback is always so good that we inevitably get invited back!

My view is that it's because we just look like we're having such a good time. But that said, we sound pretty good too. Hearty clap on the back for us!

Photos

I've mentioned this before, but if you are able either to use the Upload Your Picture section below to send me a picture, or just send me one by email or WhatsApp, that'd be really helpful.

I can connect faces to names for most of you but occasionally it's nice to have a little refresh.

By the same token, we've now got name badges for our Bury St Edmunds choir and our Thetford choir, kindly done by Sandra. If you'd like something similar for Ipswich and Bungay then do let me know.

Do get in touch if you have any questions or comments. You can email me at ed@popclubchoir.uk, or whatsapp, call or text on 07973 110075. Or hit me up on Facebook!
