“I came for the music and stayed for the laughter. Monday nights are my highlight!”— Amy R., alto★★★
All the songs you know
Relaxed and fun
No auditions, no need to read music
A welcoming community for adults of all ages, singing uplifting songs in four-part harmony. We have around 200 members across four locations in East Anglia. We perform frequently — more than many similar choirs — and our only rule is to have fun.
We're small enough to know all our singers personally and we'll keep it that way. Our Director, Ed, has a Masters Degree in music, and has sung alongside artists such as Robbie Williams, Westlife and Michael Ball.
Whether you're an experienced choir member, or a complete non-singer, you'll feel welcome from the moment you arrive. In a few minutes you'll have put the stresses of the day to one side and you'll be singing along like a good'un.
We keep the atmosphere relaxed, fun and friendly — perfect for building confidence and finding your voice. Singing in a group means you'll blend in so you can simply enjoy it.
In a recent survey, 98% of members said one of the main reasons they came was for the fun.

Rehearsals run 7:00pm–9:00pm, at four locations across Norfolk & Suffolk.
From 7pm to 7.30pm there's tea/coffee and an opportunity to chat, mingle, ask questions and get help with any technical issues such as logging on or downloading stuff from the fabulous members' website. There's no need to be a computer whizz!
Singing starts promptly at 7.30pm. There's a short break in the middle and we're all done by 9pm.
Monday — Bury Community Centre, 1 Charles Place, Bury Saint Edmunds, IP32 6TD | 7:00–9:00pm |
Tuesday — Bungay Community Centre, Old Grammar Lane, Bungay, NR35 1PU | 7:00–9:00pm |
Wednesday — Ipswich Sports Club, Henley Road, Ipswich IP1 4NJ | 7:00–9:00pm |
Thursday — Croxton Village Hall, Croxton, Thetford IP24 1LN | 7:00–9:00pm |
Access to the login area of website is included in your membership. Vote for new songs, book in for gigs or social events, build a playlist of your parts and more.
You'll find recordings for your part, lyrics and optional sheet music. Perfect for consolidating what you learned in rehearsal.
We know life is busy and you may miss some rehearsals. You can catch up any time — for each new song you'll find a recap videos in the Members' Area.
We rehearse 30 weeks a year, usually split into 3 terms per year. Prices start from just £5 per session with annual membership.
Comparable choirs are typically more expensive — we keep things affordable so you can enjoy singing, whatever your situation.
We have a rolling membership system so you can join us at any time. Join for a "term" in week 3 and your membership will run until the end of week 13.
Members can come to as many rehearsals as you like. So if you fancied Bury St Edmunds on Monday and Thetford on Thursday, or if you missed a session at Bungay and wanted to catch up at Ipswich, that's fine. No need to book in. Just bowl up when and where you fancy.
Pop along for a free session — no pressure, just lots of singing and smiles.
You'll be welcomed by Ed, our conductor, at the door and there's no need to do any preparation. Just come along! We'll have everything you need.
From 7pm to 7.30 there's coffee and an opportunity to mingle and chat. Most people who come along for the first time have never sung before so you'll very much be among friends.
Performances (or "gigs" as we like to call them) are optional but plentiful. Community events, charity fundraisers and more, giving you plenty of chances to perform.
Our only rule is "have fun!" and that applies just as much to gigs as it does to rehearsals and social events.
Social events (all year round)
